Inside the Tunnel

Image
As I stand in the Tunnel, I feel like I’m in the Funnel, Surrounded by many workers, Came all the way from India as labors.             Right of me, I can hear Drilling,             Left of me, I can hear Grinding.             In the middle, I’m standing,             With the work of Grouting. All the workers in their eyes, With the dust they are dyed. Some are covered with their mask, Till the end until the task.             Among them are some Foreman,             Experienced and dedicated with their man,                     All they need is progress,             Quality is what we maintain in the process. Pressure & W:C ratio to be maintained, For the Grout to be retained. Is all I’m shouting, For which some are doubting.             I can observe some leakage of Grout,             I am there to shout for a cutout.             And to plug it with a Packer,

Eczema

My Daughter Sonam Yoesel Thayeden Everyone, in one way or the other, has experienced the deadly disease that has stuck with you forever. The experience will be tough and challenging that will test your patience and your faith of course. If one gives a deep thought and reflect on what causes it to infect our body, it's all about our Karma, our past deeds that makes it possible in this life. We all are temporary being living in a moment without knowing what will happen next. Nobody can predict the Next Moment and we are all bound to decay and decompose. But when we are alive we don't want to suffer, we don't want to be infected with diseases. Because of which many scientists have discovered numerous means of treatment and they are always in their toes to discover the new methods. At times, I feel that we need to undergo this type of experience for the fact that we realize of our impermanence in this planet Earth because some tend to be too busy mending for ones gain a

Begging to Follow me

With so many options available online to manage the blog page, it's a daunting charge for me to choose one. I have chosen a theme that will suit the likeness of my readers and automatically click on Follow Me gadget that I've made available in the top right corner. Easier said than done. It was difficult for my readers to do as expected. Even my better-half didn't follow me after sending a repeated link to do it ( My Link ). She didn't even bother to open the link and observe the changes that I have made overnight. Thanks to google for making possible to create pages including Home ,   About Me  and Contact Me .  The situation demanded me to open the link in her phone and click on Follow Me, myself 😏.  Samten  is my first follower and I am sure many will join me later. I have sent my link to  Pema Wangchuk  and  Budhi Maya  making them my 2nd and 3rd follower respectively. I have done the same to others requesting them to follow me. For now, have got 10 followers

1. Gents It was on 7th October 2018 early in the morning at 5:00 AM, I can hear my wife preparing Lunch. I can also sense in my half sleep that she called all other friends to wake them up for us to be on finalized departure time at 6:00 AM (BST), as some rightly decode it as Bhutan Stretchable Time. My daughter and I were sleeping peacefully till 5:30 AM when I was reminded by a call from Sangay. The day earlier all three SOs (Dorji, Sangay & Pema) agreed to join us whereas only Sangay could make it at the eleventh hour, reason best known to them. I got ready with my morning routine and got dressed up quickly. We were ready by 6:00 AM where I find my baby still in bed to be woken up by her Mom and got her dressed up.  Mr. Karma and his family were the first to reach at the meeting spot on time, followed by us. Mr. Chogyal and his family have left to Trongsa to pick his sister and will be joining on the way. 2. Ladies  We were supposed to be joined by Mr

My Friends

Image
Everyone has got a friend who they share all their secrets. They are more than your parents. In the early days when we were young, we always long to meet our friends so that we play together and share our chocolates together. I still remember my childhood friends showing their New Pants and Shirts, New Toys, New Gumboot, etc only to nag my parents to buy me one. At times we even used to exchange the New items with some chocolates and it used to create the worst scene at home when asked whereabouts 😄. Once upon a time in School days... Together we used to go for firewood collection, herding the cattle, playing, singing, dancing and eating together. Our elders used to make a Toy Cars using wooden wheels (3 Nos) and a plank. They used to appoint one assistant to carry those cars to the desired destination. It used to accommodate two persons and usually works on a steep slope. The driver/elder used to be the driver and the assistant we younger used to be at back holding tightly.

How I came to write this

I was always fascinated with the Bloggers blogging with their write-ups. It was them that inspired me to set up this blog and put my words into something that I can refer and show to others what I am thinking. By writing something not only will serve us learning something new but also helps us to cherish our memories. We are human beings and we got a limitation to certain things that our memory can store, so this will help us in remembering what we have thought back then. Writing will also make us to read a lot.       Today I am going to share how I am introduced to this blog and from where I am writing this piece. It was a long time ago that I finished reading the book written by Chablop Passang Tshering, titled Passu Diary. He is one of the most popular bloggers in Bhutan and his book was published from those write-ups from his blog. Ever since then, I have decided to introduce myself to writings but it remained idle and got no guts to proceed further.  Yesterday I googled on
