MHPA Power House

 With the start of the rainy season of the year,
The amount of downpour is the blessing in disguise for the hydropower projects,
Where they gear up for the maximum generation of power,
Maximizing the revenue of the government.

With the current situation of the pandemic,

Where the economy of the country is badly affected,
All the eyes are to the hydropower projects,
For harnessing the generation to the peak,
All are devoted to making it happen by any means.

 

MHPA welcomes the challenges,
With the backup team at isolation,
Leaders and heads round the clock,
Confirming the generators are running to the maximum capacity.

Everyone in the office doing their part of the job,
With the vision of serving the Tsa-Wa-Sum,
But if one visits UGPG and Dam Top, the workload they take,
Takes one to the feeling that the workload we do is nothing.
 
The revenue generated in Billions is sent to the coffer of government,
The loss due to one unfortunate unit is discussed in the parliament,
Not realizing the loss daily incurred in other hydropower projects,
That has not demoralized the spirits of MHPA.
 
Whole team engaged, day in and day out, for restoration of the Unit,
Made me to think out of my confined mindset,
That the Bhutanese are ready to take the huge job given the responsibility,
Delivering with quality and dignity.
 
Come monsoon 2021,
Shower us with blessings,
With uninterrupted generation of revenue,
With a continuous flow of positivity to all the employees of MHPA.
