Journey to Umling for Vacation

Gammon rushing with Bills in hand,

Solving every part with a rush,

My EE reminding me not to hush,

Gammon want it fast,

Nakul maintaining his coolness;

Having done with the work,

Put up my leave consent from EE,

Put up the Notesheet for New Year Eves budget,

Recommended from Chief and forwarded it to DT,

Fingers crossed ended my day;

Got information from the known source,

Having blocked the way at Roetala,

By a falling Boulder to be cleared using explosives,

Deferred our timing at 9:00AM,

Actually planned at 6:30AM;

Joined by Drakpa and family,

Informing us in the morning,

Together we started our journey;

In our mind, we got a common Doubt,

Whether block was cleared or not,

Fortunately, we encountered with the line of Vehicles,

By the time we reached Langthel;

Crossed the block without any problem,

It was scary at first, crossed with confidence;

Lunchtime at Tama,

Different menus from three different households,

Everyone enjoyed the dish; 

Continued our journey down the hill,

Crossing Tamala, came to the foothills of Jigmecholing,

Down to the plains of Gelephu,

That can be viewed from above,

Came across with Ossey block point,

The very dangerous stretch of 500m,

One car stuck in the middle of the road,

All came for the rescue,

Successfully crossed the point;

By 5:30PM we reached the Serchong Gate,

Diverted our way from there to Umling,

Crossed Therwarkhola by dusk,

Reached to the foothills of Norbuling,

Crossed Taklai River and was dark by that time,

Ascended to the valley of Umling,

Descended to the village of Gaden,

At 6:30PM, reached our destination safely;

Thank you to the God Almighty,

Thank you to the Kencho Sum,

All are fine with Good Health.
