Adieu Daju Bhai & Last Get-Together
I try to recollect the first time I met with Daju-Bhai; I get a faded memory back in the year 2013 when he used to substitute our shift vehicle (the Bolero camper he owns today)
with his Maruti Van whenever the former Driver got to go in urgency for Repair and Maintenance. Since then he has been known to us as Driver Daju-Bhai. Later he get interested to own the Camper and he formally joined us (Adit-II Family) in April-2014, where he bought the camper and continued the duty.
With Daju-Bhai |
He is known amongst us as a strict Driver and On-Time Driver. Initially, he has some misunderstanding with some officials, like, he used to blow the Horn continuously right after reaching the spot. Sometimes he used to leave them when they don’t respond after 1-2 minutes of waiting. Gradually, a trend has been coped up that he gives a missed call instead of blowing a horn and that system has been followed to the last hour, reducing the misunderstanding. He is sincere, punctual and dedicated to his job. Everybody appreciates his work but everyone reluctantly avails his service (reasons best known to them).
Lunch Time |
Team Adit-II (specifically Face-IV) gathered at Adit-II site office for the last time (as far as I am concerned) on 9th March 2019. The gathering has a duty to be fulfilled by every individual that’s to verify the Grouting Joint Records submitted by the Contractor. It was followed by a simple Lunch.
I took that opportunity to convey my heartfelt gratitude to Daju-Bhai. Begged a pardon if I’ve done or said anything to hurt him (I am sure I’ve said sth to hurt him). I wished him luck for his 2nd term at PHPA (he is planning to join there). Similarly, I thanked Passang Tshering and Tashi Dendup (consolidated WS) for being part of the team. They have been transferred to the Security Division recently. Together we have achieved an impossible task, done a great job and made a history to be cherished by all the Bhutanese people.
Group Photo with Team Adit-II |
It was indeed an emotional meeting with all of my team members. Took some time for Group Photos.
The final POL recoupment has been completed and an Experience Certificate (To whom it may concern) has been drafted.
I wish all the members a Good Luck and Best Wishes.
