I hope this will find you with the biggest smile as I am writing to you with lots of love to wish you on 3rd Birthday (27.06.2019). How much I try to convince you that tomorrow is your birthday, that much you ignore me because you are not that old enough to know the charm of it. If you are reading this, know me that I love you with full of heart.  This is the day you were born. You were born to be my child. It's all due to the karmic connection that we were bonded in this life to be a father-daughter relationship. I feel lucky to have you in my life. First time I saw you when a nurse hands you in my arm, you were too fragile to handle. I was like, this really is my child 😊. Happy Father's Day International father's day is celebrated globally on 16th June. The day is marked for honoring the fatherhood and parental bond. It also gives an opportunity for fathers to gather around and spend time. Unlike mother's day, it was not that known by the way it appears in social media. Nothing posts related to father's day was made except with one or two posts and that made it all to the sense that it's not that popular.  Nonetheless, the fathers residing at Dam colony, as agreed upon, came together on that day to celebrate it. The day was special to all and it even got it more interesting since it was on the same day, Unit-1 of MHEP was successfully commissioned. Around 13 members jointly formed a group and headed to Trongsa. Dinner was arranged at Hotel Shambala.  It was a get-together discussing a wide range of topics especially the commissioning of the project. Inside UGPH Cavern  The long-awaited milestone, the most revered one and the happiest news in the country comes with the tidings of MHEP commissioning. Local news forum and the social media news feeds were full of congratulatory note after the PMO (Prime ministers Office) shared a photo of the occasion, where he thanked the management and the team for the success. The occasion was formally graced by the chairman, Hon'ble Lynpo Loknath Sharma, Minister of MOEA and the Secretaries (Cabinet and MOEA). There were also some guests from the Indian Embassy and the Dzongkhag Officials from Trongsa. Ever since the pay revision topic was put in the public domain, the commissioning of MHPA has become the limelight to discuss. In parliament, in the public debate of BBS, in social media, the commissioning of MHPA has been put into a crucial phase. It all came out when the government of the day (DNT) announced the pay revision of public servants and when asked where is the fund, the government has an answer "MHPA is commissioning". Even the annual income after exporting the electricity was made known to the nation making it very difficult to miss the agreed deadline.  PC: Google All eyes of the nation are watching over the commissioning of MHPA which is due on 16th of June 2019. June 2nd every year, coinciding with the coronation day of our 4th Druk Gyalpo, Social Forestry Day is celebrated in our country. The nation comes together to celebrate with the plantation of the sapling and making our green Bhutan even greener. Our constitution mandates us to preserves (at all times) 60 percent of its land under forest cover. It is now to the people of Bhutan to uphold the constitution by planting trees.  Readying for the plantation With the construction sector booming and more hydropower sector coming up, more and more trees are destroyed. June 2nd reminds us of the importance of forest and the very true meaning of the Bhutanese. The people of Bhutan participates in the plantation collaborating with the sectors/institutions. Men in action Similarly, the staff of MHPA residing in Dam Colony has carried out the plantation in the Dumping Yard of Adit-IV & Adit-V. A total of 20 participants came together under the leadership of Samten Sir (EE, SED)
