Father's Day-2019

Happy Father's Day
International father's day is celebrated globally on 16th June. The day is marked for honoring the fatherhood and parental bond. It also gives an opportunity for fathers to gather around and spend time. Unlike mother's day, it was not that known by the way it appears in social media. Nothing posts related to father's day was made except with one or two posts and that made it all to the sense that it's not that popular. 

Nonetheless, the fathers residing at Dam colony, as agreed upon, came together on that day to celebrate it. The day was special to all and it even got it more interesting since it was on the same day, Unit-1 of MHEP was successfully commissioned. Around 13 members jointly formed a group and headed to Trongsa. Dinner was arranged at Hotel Shambala. 

It was a get-together discussing a wide range of topics especially the commissioning of the project. Light drinks with a toss of getting together next year were made followed by special dinner.

 Then the group headed to Aqua Karaoke, where a summer night party was organized. We enjoyed there in a hall with music in the air, rhythm on the feet, jumping with the track, singing with the tune.... till 2:00 AM. When we headed back to our station, it has become mandatory to play Ang-Tak-Shaa-Ri (a song was sung with an alphabet the other group ends) on the way. Our plan was to stop at Chunjapang but then it was already occupied by another group. It was when we decided and stopped near the stone quarry and played the game. By the time we reached our station, it was 4:00 AM.

 I will remember the day and will surely participate in the coming years. For next year, I hope some bachelors will join in the world of fatherhood.

COVID-19 is a Blessing

PC; Google Ever since WHO declared COVID-19 as a pandemic, many countries have limited the entry and exit, many have closed the borders and at an individual level, everyone takes the initiative to keep ourselves clean.   Every nation advises its citizens to stay at home and some companies have started to implement a strategy “Work from Home”.   Social distancing for a meter is recommended by WHO to prevent the spread of the virus.  Many deaths are reported. It was learned that the corpse are buried without proper funeral rites and the family members are not allowed to meet the deceased. Once the virus is infected, the victims are isolated in a separate room where none are allowed to visit. It is so heartening to see the rate of spreading is so high. Scientists are unable to understand the behavior of the virus to discover the antidote. On the other hand, the earth is healing with the reduction of pollution. With Nidup sir and Rohit (AE) I had a Team....... When I started my career, As an Assistant Engineer and  It was back in July-2012. I was new to the environment and place, It was my first time in Trongsa, Everything seems green and pure but Lots many have joined to roar.
