With MHPA Dress code As I wear the dress of MHPA, embroidered with the yellow-colored MHPA in the left chest, though the waist for me is tight, I embrace the proud moment to be part of the MHPA team. Mangdechhu will always be my part of life. In here, I have grown to a height that I am now standing. MHPA has given me an opportunity to learn new things, meet new people, work with many experts and of course has provided me with the livelihood.  Many have worked in MHPA and gone. They remember MHPA as a platform to gain the skills and wisdom that is necessary for moving forward. Together we have built this mega project within the stipulated time and cost.  At some point, there should be a starting point and a ladder to climb to our destination. I started my career here in MHPA in a historically important place, Trongsa. I heard like, Trongsa is regarded as the best place to kick start your career ( I don't know how far it is true ).  The reason behind the belief is that

Happy Losar - 2020

Image
It is always nice to be back at Dam Colony LOSAR, which literally translates to New Year. It is the first day of the new year, the year of Iron Male Mouse Year. It is a very important day of the year to which the day is declared holiday for two days. Losar is widely celebrated by the Tibetan, Bhutanese and those who follow Buddhism.   It is a time to reflect upon oneself for the deeds that we have left behind the previous year and to resolute ourselves for the things that we are ought to do. An opportunity to beg for forgiveness to those you may have hurt unintentionally and carry on with the good memories that you have created unconditionally.  A day to celebrate with your family and friends near and far, with a mixture of laughter, smiles, and joy.  The first month of the year in the Bhutanese calendar signifies an auspicious month. The whole month is banned from selling the non-veg items by our current Je Khenpo discouraging the people from consuming the flesh and blo

Trip To Buli Tsho

Image
Members As usual, a casual talk has emerged during the gathering at my place upon which the trip to Buli Tsho under Zhemgang Dzongkhag was discussed. It was so normal to which I had a gut feeling that this will never materialize due to the fact that it was discussed upon a beer in hand, meaning it was not taken into a serious matter. I was given a charge to organize and make it happen by all the members to which the trip to Buli with camping at Tingtibi was thought of.  A group in WeChat was formed with the name "Trip To Buli Tsho" by adding the members. A total of 14 members has formed the group with different discussions regarding the camping was sorted out. Some view that camping to be cancelled and instead we start early. Some group supported camping which resulted in the decision to go for camping and visit Buli Tsho the next day. It was learned that the decision needs to be taken at the end of the day. To my surprise all agreed to my decision. I have prepare

Happy married Life - KoTa

Image
Newly wedded Pema Loday & Chungku Wangmo  A marriage ceremony is something that should happen once in a lifetime and that moment should be grand and remembered throughout life. The ceremony of marriage is seldom forgotten in our pathway and nowadays it is not given due diligence to an extent that should be given.  It is ceremonially celebrated with family members, friends, and well-wishers. Every part has its own way of celebrating depending upon culture and religion.  In the olden days, it is said that the bride and groom need to be blessed by the Lamas followed by drinking a locally brewed wine (Ara) from each other's cup.  In this modernization era, even the family members are not aware of the marriage. They will not introduce to the parents nor will they dare to face the crowds. Marriage has become a play that has no seriousness. With this notion, many cases of divorce are on the rise with the children dooming in the darker world. They are mentally disturbed

Angel in disguise-SAVIOR

Image
With Jigme Tshewang at THyE Dam Office   It won't be an angel who will appear in front of us in the form of some superstitious origin and there is nothing as such, a supernatural power that will help us when we are in need. They are our friends, relatives, families, strangers and basically, they are in a human form.  With Pema Tenzin at Bajo Today, I was traveling from Dangdung to Wangdue. Literally, I was bunking from my workplace which could be the reason that I was asked to submit the report to Chief sir after signing it (since I was part of a committee). When I got the message, I have already started my journey and was way down to the valley of Tshangkha (around 4:00 PM).  The gloomy weather of Dangdung gave me a haunch that it surely is snowing at Palela. I was received by rain at Samcholing side and a little drizzling at Dam Colony. After delivering the required files to the chief sir's office, I headed to Wangdue via Trongsa. The snow has greeted me when
