Trip To Buli Tsho

A group in WeChat was formed with the name "Trip To Buli Tsho" by adding the members. A total of 14 members has formed the group with different discussions regarding the camping was sorted out. Some view that camping to be cancelled and instead we start early. Some group supported camping which resulted in the decision to go for camping and visit Buli Tsho the next day. It was learned that the decision needs to be taken at the end of the day. To my surprise all agreed to my decision.
I have prepared a tentative program for two days (21 - 22.02.2020). The team from Dam Colony has started the journey at 2:00 PM and was joined by Dangdung team. On the way, we have a tea break after crossing Wangdigang. It was only there that we could meet up with the members and confirm the heads. I was happy to see all are present and turned up for the camping. In total, there are 14 adults and 9 children which made a total of 23 heads.
A camping spot was finalized before reaching Tingtibi which was just 3 KM from our spot. The spot as desired by all was; near the river, spacious playground and the nearby road. A total of 6 tents were pitched and the campfire lit. It was followed by the potluck dinner.
The drink on the ground, music in the air and smile on every face, it was refreshing with the cool breeze flowing in. Jam up for the night started with the sound system arranged by Karma sir. It was stopped by force because the battery was dead and the time has ticked to 2:30 AM. We have headed to the tent which was mutually allotted. I along with the four members were allotted to a tent (big in size) and named bachelor's tent. It was not so comfortable but it was a memorable night.
The next day, tea was prepared. Light breakfast with tea and snacks was preferred by all upon my suggestion to order breakfast from Tingtibi. We started our journey to Buli by 9:00 AM.
Up towards Dakphel, a 16 KM journey from Tingtibi town, we headed to Buli village which is 36 KM from the Dakphel junction.
Initially, we have planned to return back to Tingtibi for lunch which got changed to Zhemgang. It was our collective luck that we met with a Traffic Police who graciously offered to help us in ordering the lunch at Zhemgang town.
We reached Buli Tsho at around 11:30 AM. The lake was magnificently surrounded by the thick forest. We can observe a Dorji & Phurba like shape carved in the rock that surrounds the lake. It was said that the lake is the wish-fulfilling lake and grants all the wishes. We have done our visit thoroughly and satisfactorily.
It was already 1:30 PM by the time we started our journey back. We were already late for lunch. Off to Zhemgang we reached TYP Hotel at 4:00 PM. We dig in with the lunch with the full packed stomach.
We started back to the colony from Zhemgang and safely reached our station at 7:00 PM.
With beautiful people around, we made beautiful moments. I sincerely hope that the memories of our camping will be remembered and cherished forever. If we happen to travel via Tingtibi in the future and sees the camping spot, we shall definitely have a glow in our face recollecting the moments.
