Silent Thimphu It was proven that, lockdown breaks the chain of local transmission of diseases. It provides the professionals to study the disease carefully and plan the way forward accordingly. A lady was detected to be Covid-19 positive from the flu clinic in Thimphu which led to Lockdown in Thimphu Dzongkhang on 20 th December 2020. The news of lockdown was known to the public early in the morning before the government could officially announce. This has shaken the minds of all the people, rushing to every corner of shops, buying essential items. The first thing that triggers the minds of the people is FOOD/EATING. From my little perspective view, that very moment will be the perfect opportunity to spread the disease when many people rush without adapting the Covid-19 protocols. It was on Saturday night, the relatives came for a baby shower and we had a great time.   The day on 10th December 2020, when we were referred to JDWNRH after an appointment with the gynecologist for a cesarean. The whole night was a nightmare with the thoughts of successful delivery, the gender of the baby, if the supplied soups would be sufficient, and would it be at the time of need. It was on 11th December 2020 after battling the night, early in the morning a nurse came with an operation gown and told us that we are the first one to go. "Be ready by 9:00AM". Butterflies in my stomach, worrisome in my head, forced smile on my face; I help her get dressed and we waited for the knock at our door. "It's time La. Bring the stretcher". Followed by a nurse " Don't panic, Everything will be fine". from Level-4 to Level-2, In the lift; The wild imagination flashes back in my mind. Within no time we are already at Level-2 standing in front of the operation theatre. I was like, " I will wait here". " You can't wait here,

Sneak Peek of Cabin It was 7:00AM in the morning that triggered the Alarm clock. Got myself freshen and dressed up, readying to head to the Hospital. The plan for the early movement for the fact that Baby Thayeden won't be notified when we left. As I readied, I hugged and kissed my baby for the last time before I leave. I left my heavy heart and felt sorry for her.  By 8:00AM, there was a long queue already for blood sample collections. We were 39th to be tested. Desups trying real hard to maintain the distance, some guiding the patients with the directions, others helping the aged people reaching to the destination. Seats were marked with a red cross ❌ alternatively, then people were seen occupying the crossed mark. All are seen with masks 😷 ON, which makes us unrecognizable at first glance. The token blink sound, Beep, Beep... Desup shouting, Token No. 39, "Token Sum-Chu-So- Ghu La" . There she goes, gave her blood sample. The report will be out only at 11:00AM.  Coll

Blessings are in any form to which it depends upon the beliefs of the recipient. Every day, we receive some kind of thing to which we tend to ignore its importance unless the very purpose is served beyond our imagination. Blessings shouldn't be asked, blessings shouldn't be expected,  blessings shouldn't be ignored. It should be gracefully accepted and spiritually liberated in any way forward. In 2016, I was blessed with a beautiful daughter who turned 4 years old on June 27th. In a day or two, I am expecting another child which I am hoping, everything will be fine with the grace of God and the well-wishers of close friends and families. With the very reason of Covid-19, JDWNRH has restricted the patients to take any edible items and the patients should be accompanied by one attendant only that too after testing Covid-19 and declaring that you are Covid negative.
