Sneak Peek of Cabin |
It was 7:00AM in the morning that triggered the Alarm clock. Got myself freshen and dressed up, readying to head to the Hospital. The plan for the early movement for the fact that Baby Thayeden won't be notified when we left. As I readied, I hugged and kissed my baby for the last time before I leave. I left my heavy heart and felt sorry for her.
By 8:00AM, there was a long queue already for blood sample collections. We were 39th to be tested. Desups trying real hard to maintain the distance, some guiding the patients with the directions, others helping the aged people reaching to the destination. Seats were marked with a red cross ❌ alternatively, then people were seen occupying the crossed mark. All are seen with masks 😷 ON, which makes us unrecognizable at first glance. The token blink sound, Beep, Beep... Desup shouting, Token No. 39, "Token Sum-Chu-So- Ghu La". There she goes, gave her blood sample. The report will be out only at 11:00AM.
Collected the report and went to see the Doctor. After completing all the formalities, went towards the emergency block wherein the Covid test (PCR) is done. It is mandatory for all those who are admitted should undergo PCR tests. We have done our part. Remarked as NEGATIVE, only then we were allowed inside. The tension builds in as we headed towards the luggage screening point. The security guard was like, "Hope there isn't anything that is not allowed inside". Our instant reply, "No, No, we don't have anything". He has done his part, searched all the bags - not that detailed 😉, luckily. We passed through the gate. As we walk upstairs, we were looking at each other and smiling.
Dinner |
It was in Maternity Ward, B34. The nurse showed us our bed and registered with all the forms. There are six patients in a ward. All are expecting their newborns anytime soon. Some from other wards are leaving after completing the deliveries. All seems newly admitted in our room. Fortunately, there was a call from the CABIN unit, saying one cabin is empty and we may shift it (one needs to book a Cabin beforehand). We shifted to CABIN B and it was worth it. It has an attached bathroom and a cupboard. You were provided with a tray (inside, it has one tissue paper, a soap, attendant card). It has a TV in it and a combined pantry (Refrigerator, Oven, Boiler). Plus point is that there is a WiFi facility here.
6:00PM-7:00PM is the dinner timing. As I walked down towards kitchen exactly at 6:00PM, there stands a queue (approximately 20s). I joined the line and raised above to see why the queue is not moving. To my amazement, the foods are not displayed yet. After five minutes, there comes the trolley loaded with fooding (Rice, Pumpkin + Channa, Dal). As I moved forward and turned back, there are like 50s behind me. I thought I am not that late 🤔.
Time for taking a day off and mentally preparing for the next BIG DAY.
