Education System - Reforming

There was an era in this beautiful landlocked country,
Sandwiched between the two giants,
India in the south and China in the North;
Where the happiness of the people is more important than the domestic product,
Where the sovereignty of the country is ruled by the Monarchy;
It was in the year 2018 when the first democratically government was elected,
That changed the system in education in terms of quality,
In the name of improvement; the syllabus has changed/reduced,
New sets of curriculum rules are adopted,
Students are given much freedom to cope up with the learning.
Many promises are made by every political party,
To improve the education sector,
Many more have done by three government,
That has confused the teachers and students.
Many were worried about the degrading of education quality,
Netizens shared grievances in social media,
Some asked for reforms, others reminded the government.
Nothing has changed – western schools remained the most opted admissions,
Private schools offered brighter students the scholarship,
Ignoring the far-flung schools.
Teachers in remote places are neglected,
Those in urban remained there forever.
Some schools are lifted and clustered with others,
While many are degraded reasoning the insufficient number of students.
Finally, the call of the people has been heard by His Majesty the king,
On 17th December 2020, His Majesty issued the Kasho to Education Ministry,
For reforming and improving the quality of education.
It’s time to wake up, seriously look into the matter,
Make the necessary changes/updates,
And bring in all the required wisdom in the education sector.
