With the start of New year, renewing the hopes and aspirations for another year and expecting a better and fruitful year than the previous year with new hopes, wishes, and a resolution is what everybody regard to have in their way. It is also the best opportunity to

forget the past mischievous moments/memories (that are haunting) and carrying the best moments forward (that makes your day) which are rare to be forgotten. Some action of us is so mingy that we couldn't realize of it until someone gets hurt and by that time it would be too late to ask for forgiveness. We all are bound to make mistakes in life, but the perfect mind of pardoning is what one makes a good human being. 
I welcome this Year-2019 with an open heart and with an open mind. The year where the future of mine will be decided. Indeed this year will be the critical year of MHPA staff working all around since the commissioning of the project is near the doorstep and there seem to be limited slots in DGPC for O & M purpose. Moreover, 2019 may be the final year for all the staff to be parted each other but then the beauty of our profession is such that we may work together again. Nevertheless, we were not bogged down by the mentation of it only to celebrate the New Year Eve joyfully. A family of 7 members has gathered near Mess and we had a wonderful dishes prepared in the mess along with a bonfire outside. All wear a smile on their face and are all excited to welcome New Year-2019. Some casual talks went on to say, this may be the last New Year celebration together. There came 01.01.2019 (12:01 AM) with a countdown from 10,9....... Exchanged a hug, wishing Happy New Year to all.
Nyilo Celebration at Dam Park
I wished all my family and friends, a Very Happy and Prosperous New Year-2019. I had a silent prayer within me that I grant a pardon from those whom I have unintentionally hurt them, from those whom I have said or done something that has to harm their sentiments. I also did want to convey to them that I am extremely Sorry for causing them and at the same time I am tremendously Thankful to them for mending my life. 
I ought to live this Year with the principles of Taking Meals on Time (health first then wealth will flow), Worrying less (useless to worry about the past gone days and pathetic to worry about the unborn future) and the third principle I want to abide by is Being Happy always (happiness is what our life makes worthy living).
Chu-Nyi-Pai Losar at Dam Park
Subsequent celebrations were organized. Firstly the Nyilo celebration on 03.01.2019 at Dam Colony Park. I would describe it as a "Potluck Lunch" where every household prepared a dish unannounced. A bonfire was prepared followed by the dances and songs. 
A similar celebration was prepared for Chu-Nyi-Pai Losar on 06.01.2019. With the theme of "Same Venue, Same Time" we got extra members from nearby. Some of them were invitees. All enjoyed the night with bonfire lit and dances continued till 10:00 PM. 
All in all, I believe this year will be full of festivals and celebrations. Looking forward to the similar celebration in the Year-2019.

COVID-19 is a Blessing

PC; Google Ever since WHO declared COVID-19 as a pandemic, many countries have limited the entry and exit, many have closed the borders and at an individual level, everyone takes the initiative to keep ourselves clean.   Every nation advises its citizens to stay at home and some companies have started to implement a strategy “Work from Home”.   Social distancing for a meter is recommended by WHO to prevent the spread of the virus.  Many deaths are reported. It was learned that the corpse are buried without proper funeral rites and the family members are not allowed to meet the deceased. Once the virus is infected, the victims are isolated in a separate room where none are allowed to visit. It is so heartening to see the rate of spreading is so high. Scientists are unable to understand the behavior of the virus to discover the antidote. On the other hand, the earth is healing with the reduction of pollution. With Nidup sir and Rohit (AE) I had a Team....... When I started my career, As an Assistant Engineer and  It was back in July-2012. I was new to the environment and place, It was my first time in Trongsa, Everything seems green and pure but Lots many have joined to roar.
