Happy Birthday Your Majesty

His Majesty the King
On this joyous occasion of the 39th Birth Anniversary of our King (21st February), the whole nation join together to celebrate this auspicious occasion. All the Bhutanese in and around the globe stand together to celebrate this day in whatever way possible. The students around the country look forward to this day with many cultural programmes/activities and wear a smile and satisfaction on their face that they are part of making this day even more special. Every people who call themselves a Bhutanese offers their sincere prayers and wishes for His Majesty's Long, Healthy and Prosperous life. His Majesty the Dharma King stands among the people to inspire all with his timely reminders and advises. Our Druk Gyalpo who selflessly and tirelessly serve the people must be cherished and remembered for all times to come. Our Kings has put the country and its people first.
Zhabten

This is a day, we all should be proud that we are born in a country with a Dragon King who looks after his people with kindness. Our country is small with a small population, sandwiched between the two largest countries (North: China, South: India), nevertheless, our monarchs have kept our country in peace and our people in happiness. It is also a day to reflect upon the selfless service and outstanding leadership of our Kings and accordingly promise within oneself that we will serve our country in whatever way we can. His Majesty always make a point to advice our youth that it is not the type of work that depends but how we perform our work. There is no big work OR a small work (every work is important in building our country). Our king reminds our people and the elected leaders that we are lucky to have this opportunity to serve our country. Our Druk Gyalpo is a symbol of unity and prosperity. Our Druk Gyalpo is a source of happiness and the people from all walks of life is given an equal opportunity to meet the king.

Today, I joined the nation in observing the occasion with a prayer in my small altar. With the recitation of long life prayer of His Majesty (Zhabten) I solemnly took an oath that I will give my best in whatever I do.
My daughter has also participated in wishing His Majesty by singing a Birthday song for His Majesty and I have posted it on my Facebook that got 71 views as on today.

The sky shall be the limit to describe the outstanding leadership and selfless service that our kings have done for our country. I am no match to jot all because of the limited capability that I own.

With sincere prayer and gratitude, I wish Your Majesty a Very Happy Birthday and Much of Joy & Happiness.
