My Dear Lil sis,

I am happy that you have embarked your first important step in your life with colorful results. I have sensed from your facial expression, how tensed you were before the declaration of Results. You used to be up-to-date with the news of Result Declaration and the on-going debate of No-Cut-Off-Point by the New Government. Nevertheless, you have done your part and secured in a government school (if cut-off point still exists). I joined the family members in congratulating you for your results and you know, there is still an ample room available for improvement. 

You have an option to choose among Science, Commerce and Arts Stream. I have nothing to say like this is better/that is good. It's you who is going to study and who should be comfortable. So given the choice, you have gone with Arts stream (with Maths included). I congratulate you for having given the full thought and support you for going with the interest you got in. Your life is being shaped and you already know the scope of Arts students. You need to have a clear mindset/picture where you want to land after two years. The foundation of your career starts now and you should be aware that a weak foundation topples the building easily. Strong base and foundation are where you need to set, and that shall be maintained within two years (Class-XII). You have done stepping an important step (Class-X) and more crucial steps are ahead of you. You need to be prepared mentally to overcome all those significant steps.

Class-X Result

As you go on with the flow of your life, you may encounter lots of obstacles and distractions. But do keep in mind that nothing comes in hand. Don't carry away with those beguilements, instead, challenge it with might and will as rightly said: "If there is a will there is a way". You also need to remember that, all the successful people you see around has gone through the same path. Some failed but they never gave up. They learned through their mistakes and taken up with might, that raised them higher. Success is no accident. Believe in yourself and work hard so that it will earn you success. Don't be discouraged with the failure as saying goes: "Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts". 

With this note, I want to wish you a very happy and healthy stay at your hostel. Make every moment a special one that will be cherished forever. Make friends and let them remember you by your deeds. Be a role model and let your peers follow you by your examples.
