Dangdung-New Journey begins

Sitting room

It all started with my lateral transfer to C & P Division from HRT Complex that I was enquired every time I met with the seniors from DGPC asking me ‘When am I joining the office of C & P at Dangdung?’(as if I am that important person that will change the system 😊😊😊). Applied for the apartment here at Dangdung, which the allotment committee has allotted on 1st November 2019. Due to unforeseen circumstances, it was possible to shift to the new place only on 7th November (it was a good day to shift). With some kitchen item and the bedroom necessity, came to Dangdung; the new place that I will be spending my career life here in MHPA till the next assignment is assigned to the new place.

Dogs are barking outside, water pressure hissing inside and the insects chirping above my apartment. It was quite an uncomfortable feeling to be alone in this situation. Nevertheless, life should go on with hurdles and we all should accept the difficulties in our life. Only then the flow will be smooth. 

Making supper has my memory back then when I was living alone, learning all the cooking skills for the first time. Unlike then, this time it was not that torturous. 
Hearing the footsteps in the middle of the night, got me goosebumps that have taken me to cover my head with a blanket only to be awakened by the call which the clock ticked to 8:30 AM. Readying with the morning tea and heaving it with the tea leaves intact in my mug. I've looked at every corner of shops in Dangdung looking for Tea Strainer but couldn't make my luck in finding one. 

Fan spinning, people discussing, and vehicle gearing up, as I am sitting in the room and looking for the lift to return to Dam Colony. Files piled up on my table and my senior explaining to me how to go about, I was just standing there with a smiling face with an excuse if that is necessary to do it by today itself. 

Phones ringing from the other side, asking for the procedures for contract signing which we have sent it to Thimphu and Phuentsholing Liaison office. I was explaining to them, the blank space left to be mandatorily filled by the bidders.

COVID-19 is a Blessing

PC; Google Ever since WHO declared COVID-19 as a pandemic, many countries have limited the entry and exit, many have closed the borders and at an individual level, everyone takes the initiative to keep ourselves clean.   Every nation advises its citizens to stay at home and some companies have started to implement a strategy “Work from Home”.   Social distancing for a meter is recommended by WHO to prevent the spread of the virus.  Many deaths are reported. It was learned that the corpse are buried without proper funeral rites and the family members are not allowed to meet the deceased. Once the virus is infected, the victims are isolated in a separate room where none are allowed to visit. It is so heartening to see the rate of spreading is so high. Scientists are unable to understand the behavior of the virus to discover the antidote. On the other hand, the earth is healing with the reduction of pollution. My TEAM

With Nidup sir and Rohit (AE) I had a Team....... When I started my career, As an Assistant Engineer and  It was back in July-2012. I was new to the environment and place, It was my first time in Trongsa, Everything seems green and pure but Lots many have joined to roar. Rohit (AE) & Buddha (SO) To roar the hydropower project, That will generate huge units of energy, Benefiting the country and its people, With the income remaining in the coffer.
