I had a Team.......

When I started my career,

As an Assistant Engineer and 

It was back in July-2012.
I was new to the environment and place,
It was my first time in Trongsa,
Everything seems green and pure but
Lots many have joined to roar.

Rohit (AE) & Buddha (SO)

To roar the hydropower project,

That will generate huge units of energy,

Benefiting the country and its people,

With the income remaining in the coffer.

Team Adit-II with G.B Singh (EE)

                   Everyone was new to me,

                   Everything was fresh for me.

                   The placement of me to HRT Complex

                   It’s the day, I started to feel like an Er.

Group of us reported to HRT Complex,

Located at Eusa, a rented house of Local.

The complex was headed by Engineer-in-charge

Supported by three Executive Engineers.

                   I was lucky to have attached with,

                   One of the finest person I have known.

                   He is no other than My Boss, My Mentor Nidup Dorji,

                   Who was heading Division-IV, Adit-II then.

Adit-II was what I am supposed to monitor,

Ever since then, the site has become my home.

This is my seventh year at the same site,

And I am loving all the challenges faced.

                   My Executive Engineer has guided me,

                   Refined me, taught me of life's new experiences,

                   That is not only related to the site,

                   But also touched me with the philosophy of life.

If you see in me some bit of appreciation,

Thanks to this man, Nidup sir.

I have started my journey with him,

That I am ever grateful to him.

                   Many have come and gone from my site,

                   The old me is still here with much of dedication,

                   To complete what I have started,

                   With good quality and specification.

They have left us with their commendable job.

Their footprints are what we are enjoying today.

Many of them are in a higher position,

Working in some reputed companies.

With Nagpal Sir & Tshering

      Now I have a Team,

     Headed by EE Himanshu Nagpal,

        Who looks after both Face-II, III & Face-IV,

                   Assisted by 2 AEEs, AE, 2 SOs and 7 WSs.

I had a Team then,

I have a Team now.

Together we have achieved important targets,

That ultimately have benefited the project.

With Tshering, Nagpal sir and Nakul

                   Together we have achieved 654m Adit Excavation,

        The longest Adit length in all.

                   Together we have achieved 196m in a single month,

                   Which indeed is a record by a conventional method (D&B).

Together we have achieved MS3 in October-2014,

Which indeed is 36 days ahead of schedule.

Together we have achieved MS5 in March-2017,

Which is as per schedule.

With 2 SOs, Tshering and Dorji

                   Together we have achieved 529m of Invert Lining in February-2018,

                   Which is the highest in C-2 Package.

                   Together we have achieved 427m of Overt Lining in June-2018,

                   Which is also the highest achievement in C-2 Package.

Together we are determined,

To complete the remaining works.

Together we are ascertained,

That will be done within the time-frame.
